Stories of Great Collections
История больших коллекций
Watch stories of great collections Movies2Watch. Stories of Great Collections is a documentary about the phenomenon of private collecting in Russia. Its central figure, Nazim Mustafayev, has assembled a substantial holding: more than 2,500 landmark pairs of shoes and outfits from the mid-19th century to the present. The collection became the basis of the online museum Shoe Icons; individual pieces have entered the State Hermitage Museum. Through Nazim and those who share his passion, the film is a journey in time – not a chronicle only, but an entry into the intimate world of collectors, where each object comes alive as a witness to its age.
